Dr. Matthew Upchurch attended and received his Bachelor's in Science with a minor in Coaching from McKendree University. He served his country in the U.S. Military as a Navy Mineman. Before serving and following the completion of his undergraduate studies, Dr. Upchurch dedicated time to serving as a teacher for children with special needs. Dr. Upchurch grew up in the Midwest and enjoyed watching and competing in various sports. His chiropractic journey began after being struck with near death experiences from chronic illness and auto immune disease onset while deployed in the Navy. His firsthand experience with pain motivated him to explore the underlying causes of illness and enhance his healing potential. While providing chiropractic care, Dr. Upchurch aims to provide not only relief but also to implement healthier lifestyle habits for his clients to maintain their desired results. When not in the office, you can find Dr. Upchurch spending time at home with his wife, Stasia, and two dogs, Linka and Luce.
